Dhanush's 'Pattas' fires big in spite of Thalaivar's strong 'Darbar'

Dhanush's 'Pattaas' came as a sweet Pongal treat for his fans on January 15th and the opening has been earth-shattering garnering rupees 6.5 Crores in Tamil Nadu with great response from the audiences. The figures are even more impressive considering the fact that Superstar Rajinikanth's blockbuster hit 'Darbar' is going strong in its seventh day as well.
'Pattas' directed by Durai Senthilkumar and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films G. Thiagarajan has Dhanush in dual roles as father and son and once again has proved his highest calibre as an actor. Sneha, Mehreen Pirzaada, KPY Sathish and others in the cast have also gained good mileage through the entertainer. Vivek Mervin's music score is another highlight and with the long holiday week still to go the film is expected to do extraordinary business all over.
