The blockbuster Telugu movie Arya was all set for a remake in Tamil as Yuvan with Dhanush set to play the hero with Sonia Agarwal playing his lady love.

Noted cinematographer Aravind Krishna was tipped to direct the movie with screenplay by Selvaraghavan.

Unfortunately Aravind Krishna backed out at the last moment and so did Sonia Agarwal.

When things looked out of sorts, now the producers have decided to bid bye to Dhanush from the venture.

Sources say the actor had demanded a huge sum as salary which they said could not be afford following a string of failures in the recent past .

Unable to strike a deal, they have decided move away from Dhanush and have reportedly approached Jeyam Ravi to play the hero.

One has to wait and see for Ravi's reply.
