Actor Dhanush who was last seen in the international movie Pakkiri, will be seen next in back to back releases, the Gautham Vasudev Menon directed long delayed movie Enai Nokkki Paayum Thotta and the Vetrimaran directed Asuran which is based on the novel Vekkai by Poomani.

Yesterday, the audio launch of Asuran was held in Chennai and two songs Kathari Poovazhagi and Polladha Boomi were released online. During the audio release Dhanush said that many had asked him on Vada Chennai not receiving National awards, and that he did not expect that as well, but felt that people expecting Vada Chennai to win awards itself is a huge recognition.

Dhanush further said that he did not feel for himself or Vetrimaran as they already won National awards for Aadukalam, but felt bad for art director Jackie as he had worked extremely hard for Vada Chennai. Besides Dhanush also expressed that he was disappointed for Mari Selvaraj's Pariyerum Perumal, Ratsasan Ramkumar and Merku Thodarchi Malai not winning awards.
