Dhanush's second directorial venture, 'Raayan', formerly known as 'D50', has generated immense buzz with the release of its first-look poster on February 19. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is slated for release in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu, heightening anticipation among fans.

The poster unveils Dhanush in a captivating new avatar, standing confidently in front of a food truck. Sporting a clean-shaven head and a stylish mustache, he exudes a unique charm. Clad in a red shirt and apron, his appearance hints at an intriguing character portrayal.

The first look of 'Raayan' has sent shockwaves through social media, with fans expressing their excitement and anticipation. One fan exclaimed, "Wow! This is going to be epic!" Another wrote, "This is going to set a benchmark for Tamil cinema!" A third comment read, "The combo of Dhanush and AR Rahman is what the fanboy in me is so excited for."

#D50 will also feature an ensemble cast, including Nithya Menen, SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and others in key roles.

Dhanush's last cinematic outing was 'Captain Miller', an action-adventure drama set in the pre-Independence era. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the film showcased Dhanush's versatility as an actor and enjoyed a successful run at the box office worldwide.

Having commenced filming in July last year, 'Raayan' marks Dhanush's second directorial venture. The film's initial announcement poster, featuring the actor with a clean-shaven head against a backdrop of factories, hinted at a compelling storyline.

While the complete cast and crew details of 'Raayan' are yet to be unveiled, the collaboration with music maestro A.R. Rahman for the film's music has already sparked excitement among fans.

Dhanush's directorial debut, 'Pa Paandi' (2017), earned him critical acclaim and his first Filmfare Award for Best Director - Tamil. His recent appearance in 'Captain Miller' further raised expectations for 'Raayan', promising a captivating cinematic experience for audiences worldwide.
