Dhanush had more than one reason to offer prayers to Lord Balaji at the Tirumala Tirupathi hill shrine on Sunday morning, where he reassured reporters that “Superstar Rajinikanth will return India very soon.”

The actor was at the world-renowned temple for the tonsure of his sister’s son. Accompanied by father Kasthuriraja and other members of the family, he entered the temple at 3 am on Rs 300 per head ticket.

Talking to journalists later, Dhanush said, “Rajini is completely alright. He will be back in Chennai in the next 15 days. The Superstar will kickstart Rana once he returns and will gift it to his fans.”

Dhanush was with his Superstar father-in-law in Singapore for more than two weeks. “Rajini sir is now having a whale of time in Singapore by watching films and by playing with his grandsons. He is full of energy.”
