Dhanush not to act with Rajini

Thiruvilayadal Arambam features Dhanush, Prakash Raj and Shreya in lead roles and is directed by Boopathy Pandian.

In the movie, Dhanush has appeared in the remix version of a popular yesteryear Rajinikanth’s hit song Ennamma Kannu.

Says Dhanush, “We wanted to have a song similar to Ennamma Kannu from Mr. Bharath, where the hero challenges the villain. Imman came up with several tunes. But both the director and I decided it would be good to remix the original version of Ennamma Kannu and use it in the movie, since the remix versions are quite popular these days.”

Asked whether he would act with his father-in-law, Dhanush said,”Rajinikanth is known for his charm and charisma. If I am part of his movie, I would certainly be lost in Rajini’s magical screen presence and his magnetism. Why take such a risk? Moreover, I want to be his fan and watch his movies from a distance.”
