Dhanush celebrated the first release anniversary of his blockbuster film, 'Thiruchitrambalam', with the cast and crew yesterday. Directed by Mithran Jawahar, Thiruchitrambalam is a feel good rom-com about a youngster who has a poor romantic life and a complicated family situation. Now, the photos from the celebration are going viral.

Dhanush played the titular role in Thiruchitrambalam with Nithya Menon, Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prakash Raj, Bharathiraja and others in key roles. The movie was released on August 18th, 2022, and became a sleeper hit. It grossed more than Rs 100 crores at the box office. The one year celebration of this film happened yesterday at the Sun TV office as it was produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures.

On Friday, the Thiruchitrambalam team including Dhanush, Nithya Menon, Prakash Raj, director Mithran Jawahar and others celebrated the first release anniversary at the Sun TV office. The movie won the hearts of many fans and Anirudh's musical score is a big reason for its success. On the work front, Dhanush is now busy with his second directorial 'D50' and will start 'D51' with director Sekhar Kammula next. He also has the Hindi film 'Tere Ishq Mein' with director Anand L Rai and will move to his project with Nelson after that.
