Massive ! Dhanush announces his second & thirty seventh film - Updated details

Dhanush is currently starring in a number of movies like 'Vada Chennai',  and 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir' which are in various stages of production and he will start shooting for 'Maari 2' in the next few weeks.  

Dhanush has made a sudden and exciting announcement that he is starring in and directing his next movie which will be produced by Sri Thenandal Studios after their mega hit 'Mersal'. While Dhanush confirmed what has been speculated in trade circles or the past few weeks producer Hema Rukmani has added that 'DD2'/D37' would be a "spectacular larger than life opus" and promised more exciting updates in the New Year.
