Actor Dhanush was seen last on screen in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta, and next the actor will be back with his Pongal festival entertainer Pattas directed by Durai Senthil Kumar who had earlier directed Kodi starring Dhanush in dual roles.

Dhanush had recently completed shooting of his 40th movie which has been mentioned as D40, and this movie directed by Karthik Subbaraj is produced by Y Not Studios and Reliance Entertainment. While the team had recently dismissed the reports that the movie has been titled Suruli, now an official update has come out.

Reliance Entertainment, in a recent video listing their future releases, has revealed that D40 has indeed been titled Suruli as speculated earlier. Suruli also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sanchana Natarajan, Kalaiyarasan, Joju George, James Cosmo and has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
