Actor Dhanush was seen this year in two movies - Vetrimaran directed Asuran, which was based on the novel Vekkai, and the movie became a huge hit and recently had his second movie of the year, the long delayed Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon released.

Few weeks back, Dhanush had completed shooting for his 40th movie which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and the movie which also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi and Joju George was shot completely in London. After the wrap of this movie, Dhanush had resumed shooting for Pattas. Recently the first single from the movie "Chill bro" composed by Vivek - Mervin was released.

Now it has been officially announced that the shooting of Pattas has been completed.Pattas is the next release of the actor, and directed by Durai Senthil Kumar who had earlier directed Kodi with Dhanush, this movie will have him in dual roles again. Also starring Sneha and Mehreen Pattas is planned as a Pongal release.
