We already informed you that Dhanush is planning to don the director hat again in 2023, for which he teamed up with Vishnu Vishal. Read at: Dhanush opts for Aishwarya Rajinikanth's hero?. It is already known that his directorial debut, 'Pa Paandi', became a commercial and critical success.

The multi-talented film star started his second directorial featuring Nagarjuna, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sarathkumar but the project was shelved due to unspecified reasons after the first schedule of shooting. Now, as per the latest media reports, Dhanush is set to team up with Sun Pictures for a new film to be directed by himself.

According to the sources, the versatile performers - Vishnu Vishal and SJ Suryah are on board this project and Dhanush will also be co-starring with them. The movie is expected to go on the floors after Dhanush completes 'Captain Miller' and his film with director Sekhar Kammula. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this.

Sources close to the team say that the project is still in the budding stage and things are yet to be finalised. On the work front, Dhanush starrer bilingual film, 'Vaathi', is slated to hit the big screens on February 17. Apart from his Tamil projects, he is also in talks for a couple of Hollywood ventures.
