In 2018, actor Dhanush had acted in the movie Maari 2 directed by Balaji Mohan, and the movie also had Sai Pallavi, Tovino Thomas, Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, Robo Shankar and had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
