Amala Paul joins this Dhanush superhit remake!

Actor Dhanush had last year acted in one of the biggest hits of the year Asuran directed by Vetrimaaran and produced by Kalaippuli S Thaanu's V Creations. Also starring Manju Warrier, Ken Karunaas, Ammu Abhirami, the movie had music by GV Prakash and completed 100 days run in theaters.
Asuran which was based on the novel Vekkai by Poomani is now being remade in Telugu, and this movie began shooting before two weeks. Titled Narappa, the Telugu version has Venkatesh playing the lead role, and the movie is directed by Sreekanth Addala.
The latest update is that actress Amala Paul has been signed to play the role played by Ammu Abhirami in the flashback portions of Asuran. An official clarification on this rumour is expected soon. Priyamani will be playing the role played by Manju Warrier.
