Director Balaji Sakthivel's Kadhal has become a big hit and the director has become a name to reckon with.
Interestingly, the movie's success has helped the actor Bharath, who played the lead role, to rise up in the industry.

Actor Dhanush supposed to have played the lead in the film.
Unfortunately, a couple of other commitments meant Dhanush had to be out of the project and it meant Boys fame Bharath getting the chance.
Dhanush would certainly be cursing his stars for missing the offer.
