We have already informed you that Dhanush's upcoming film 'Maaran' is gearing up for a direct OTT release on the Disney+Hotstar platform real soon. The phenomenal actor is set to romance Malavika Mohanan in this movie written and directed by Karthik Naren.

Touted to be an investigative action thriller, Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the venture. The crew has already unleashed the stylish first video song from Maaran featuring Dhanush. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the songs and background score for the movie. Now, the makers have launched the second single, "Annana Thaalaattum".

‘Annana Thaalaattum’ is a mesmerising melody song depicting the love between the siblings. "Ramuloo Ramulaa" singer Anurag Kulkarni has rendered the song in his voice with lyrics by the most-wanted songwriter Vivek. From this song, we can learn that actress Smruthi Venkat is playing Dhanush's younger sister in Maaran.

Dhanush and Malavika will be seen as journalists while Samuthirakani is headlining the antagonist role in Maaran. It also stars Krishnakumar, Mahendran, Smruthi Venkat and Bose Venkat. The cinematography is handled by Vivekanand Santhosham and editing is handled by Prasanna GK. The screenplay and dialogues were co-written by Suhas–Sharfu.
