Dhanush fans are eagerly expecting three of his movies namely ‘Maari 2’, ‘Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta’ and ‘Vada Chennai’. However, all film shoots were temporarily halted due to the producers council strike. Now that the strike is over, the latest update is that the actor’s ‘Maari 2’ will begin filming from today.

Reportedly, the shoot kicks off at Binny Mills near to the city’s airport and the word is that portions with Dhanush and Sai Pallavi are to be shot. Apart from Dhanush and Sai Pallavi, the film also stars Tovino Thomas, Robo Shankar and Varalaxmi as well.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for the film whioch is being bankrolled by Dhanush’s home banner Wunderbar Films. The film is expected to have a release later this year. Watch this space for more updates.
