The Netflix documentary on Lady Superstar Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan’s wedding, released on November 18, has become the centre of a heated controversy. The couple, who fell in love during the making of "Naanum Rowdy Dhaan", earlier criticized actor-producer Dhanush for refusing to issue a NOC to use the making footage from the film in the documentary.

Earlier, Dhanush issued a legal notice to Nayanthara, demanding ₹10 crore in compensation for the unauthorized usage of the visuals in the documentary's trailer.
