The upcoming film “Kuberaa” features a star-studded cast including Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Taalib Tahil. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the movie is jointly produced by Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations. It is set to release on June 20 in five languages including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Amazon Prime has acquired the OTT rights for the movie. However, a recent statement by the film’s producer Sunil Narang has sparked controversy. He revealed that Amazon Prime threatened to reduce the agreed payment amount by Rs. 10 crore if the film’s release date was delayed. Narang stated that he requested a July release due to post-production work, but Amazon insisted that the film must be released on June 20 as per their contract. He added that the release date decisions are now being influenced by the OTT platform, and everything is happening according to their preference.
