Superstar Rajinikanth and his son-in-law Dhanush are both enjoying the tremendous success of their films 'Darbar' and 'Pattas' respectively.  Rajini has moved on to his next film 'Thalaivar 168' directed by Siruthai Siva while Dhanush is simultaneously working on 'Karnan', 'D40' and few other projects.

A news is doing the rounds in Kollywood that Dhanush is likely to star in the sequel to Superstar Rajinikanth's cult classic 'Nettrikann' and Keerthy Suresh will play the female lead.  Interestingly the 1981 written by Visu and K. Balachander and directed by S.P. Muthuraman had Keerthy's mother Menaka as Rajini's pair.

In 'Nettrikann' Rajini played a middle aged playboy who moves from one girl to another and finally repents after his son also played by Rajini teams up with one of the victims to teach him a lesson.  If this project really does take off it will be one more challenging role for Dhanush in his celebrated career but we will have to wait for official confirmation before jumping with joy.
