After a successful outing in ‘Maari’, Dhanush fans are eagerly awaiting the sequel ‘Maari 2’. The filming for ‘Maari 2’ is going full swing and reportedly nearing completion as well. ‘Maari 2’ is also directed by Balaji Mohan.

Now the sad update is Dhanush had reportedly injured himself during the shoot of a stunt scene. And due to this filming has been paused for now. It is expected that the shooting will resume once Dhanush recuperates. Dhanush is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital for his injury. Ever since the news was out, fans have been wishing the actor a speedy recovery on social media.

Apart from Dhanush in the lead role, the film also has Tovino Thomas, Sai Pallavi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as well. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music score for this film which is being bankrolled by Dhanush’s home banner ‘Wunderbar Films’.
