Dhanush at a very young age has risen among the ranks of the best actors in Indian cinema. He is one among the few South Indian actors to have delivered super hits in Hindi and has now completed shooting for his Hollywood debut 'The Gray Man' directed by The Russo Brothers for Netflix.
Dhanush's new Hindi film 'Atrangi Re' is releasing on the Christmas weekend on Disney Plus Hotstar. The film directed by Anand L Rai has Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan as his costars.
During the promotional activities for 'Atrangi Re', Dhanush revealed that he considers Ilayaraja as god and adores him beyond words. He added that the maestro's tunes are like a mother to him and also his lullaby. Similarly the multifaceted star stated that his costar Sara Ali Khan used to call him Thalaiva on the sets of the film and he had requested her over a million times not to address him that way.
Dhanush said that to him there is only one Thalaivar and it is his father in law Superstar Rajinikanth and he will not take up that tag. The talented actor's new movies ready for release in the new year are 'Maaran', 'Thiruchitrambalam' and 'The Gray Man'. He will be shooting for Selvaraghavan's 'Naane Varuven' and his two Telugu movies in 2022 while talks are on for more Hindi and Tamil projects.
