Dhanush haunted by

They say - Too much of anything is poison... And Dhanush will readily agree with a nod! For apparently he had enough of the Kolaveri fever..

South star Dhanush, who shot to instant fame worldwide with his single track Kolaveri Di, is said to be now fed up of the song. While he is sick of listening and singing it, what annoys Dhanush more is the fact that people recognize him for the song than as an actor.

In an interview, Dhanush aired his frustration by stating that he doesn’t want to sing that song anymore. It has started haunting me and I just want to stay away from it. Everywhere I go people associate me with it, I want to get away from it, added the actor. The song Kolaveri Di was composed for a Tamil film ‘3’ along with composer Anirudh and it is sung by a guy who gets dumped by a girl.

Dhanush, who recently made his Bollywood debut with ‘Raanjhanaa’, is also troubled with the fact that wherever he goes he is being looked up as the son-in-law of superstar Rajinikanth. In fact, he wants to make it clear that he is also the husband of Rajini’s daughter Aishwarya and she is also someone who is popular for her works in industry (director of '3' and singer).

'Raanjhanaa' also starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in lead, released on 21st June and the film is garnering great response from critics and audience.
