Dhanush, the National Award-winning versatile actor, is on a roll and making his fans happy with back-to-back theatrical releases. 'Vaathi' / 'Sir' is Dhanush's upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual film written and directed by Venky Atluri. GV Prakash composed the musical score of the movie.

The latest news is that 'Vaa Vaathi', the first single from the Vaathi album, has landed on the internet this evening. Shweta Mohan sang this lovely song with the lyrics penned by Poetu Dhanush. The pleasing melody is a romantic number in which the heroine sings her love for the protagonist.

Samyuktha Menon plays Dhanush's pair in this movie which also stars Samuthirakani, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran and others in important roles. Vaathi is produced by Sithara Entertainment, Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios.

The technical team includes Yuvraj as the director of photography, Navin Nooli as the editor, Avinash Kolla as the production designer and Venkat as the action choreographer. Vaathi is expected to hit the silver screens in January/February 2023.
