The project to help build the South Indian Actors Association's building got a big boost when Minister Udayanidhi Stalin generously donated one crore rupees to launch it. His generosity made the way for the association's property to be rebuilt.

Other well-known industry people soon followed Minister Udayanidhi's example. One crore rupee contributions were made by Kamal Haasan, Thalapathy Vijay, and Napoleon; Sivakarthikeyan also contributed fifty lakh rupees.

Actor Dhanush most recently became a philanthropist by donating an extra one crore rupees to the association's building projects. The entertainment fraternity's collective spirit of generosity has been further enhanced by a picture that captured the moment Dhanush handed the money to Nadigar Sangam President Nassar and Treasurer Karthi.
