Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Sindhubaadh’ directed by Arunkumar and costarring Anjali was slated for release on May 16th but a court order has stayed the release of the film. The said order has also stalled the release of Dhanush’s ‘Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta’ directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
According to the legal notice sent by Arka Media Works, Rajarajan the owner of K Productions owes them 17.60 Crores while distributing ‘Baahubali 2’ in Tamil Nadu. Escape Artiste Madhan is also named as the co-obligant in the issue. Hence a week time has been given to the two producers to provide security for the amount owed and till that time the release of ‘Sindhubaadh’ and ‘ENPT’ has been stayed by the Hyderabad High Court.
