Dhanush is now one of the iconic Indian actors and he has international films and several National Awards to his name. His next theatrical release will be 'Vaathi' in February and he is currently working on his next 'Captain Miller' with director Arun Matheshwaran.

Dhanush flew to Hyderabad this morning for the pooja ceremony of his new film with director Sekhar Kammula. An official announcement regarding this venture was made back in June 2021.

The upcoming movie went on the floors with a pooja ceremony at the Secunderabad Ganesh Temple in Hyderabad. Narayan Das K Narang, Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are bankrolling this outing under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (A Unit Of Asian Group). It is said to be a political action film, to be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi (Trilingual).

The makers took to social media to share photos from the ceremony. Dhanush was seen in a dapper avatar in a white shirt and white dhoti. The female lead and the other cast & crew are being finalised by the team and the details will be updated soon. According to sources, the movie is to be made at a budget of around Rs 150 crores. The regular shooting will begin soon. More details are awaited on this untitled project.
