Dhanush’s third directorial venture, 'Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam', a teen rom-com, is preparing for release. According to recent reports, Dhanush is now planning to helm his fourth directorial, tentatively titled 'DD4', which will once again feature multiple leading actors. Sources suggest that Dhanush himself will take on the lead role, with Arun Vijay cast as the antagonist. Furthermore, talks are ongoing with Ashok Selvan for a pivotal role in the film. Pre-production for the project is already underway.

'DD4' is set to be bankrolled by debutant producer Akash with a massive budget of ₹120 crores, reflecting the film’s grand scale.
