Earlier this month, Sun Pictures officially broke that they will be producing Dhanush's 50th movie, tentatively titled 'D50'. Indiaglitz updated you that this mega-budget project, named 'Raayan', will be Dhanush's second directorial. The film will go on the floors very soon.

According to sources, the stellar star cast of D50 comprises SJ Suryah, Vishnu Vishal, Kalidas Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan in key roles. Raayan is said to be a gangster action film based in North Chennai. Now, the hot news is that the 'Thiruchitrambalam' combo is reuniting for the much-awaited project.

Filmmaker Mithran Jawahar will be working on the script of Raayan along with Dhanush while Om Prakash handles the cinematography and Anirudh composes the musical score. It is worth mentioning that Thiruchitrambalam became a huge blockbuster grossing more than Rs 100 crores at the box office. Dhanush is currently shooting for Captain Miller.
