'D50' red hot update - Dhanush to romance top actress who once played his villain

Dhanush who is busy in the final leg of shooting for his long in the making 'Captain Miller' is all set to star in several new films. In the pipeline are films with H. Vinoth, Mari Selvaraj and Anand L Rai apart from his second directorial 'D50' produced by Sun Pictures.
Now the hot news is that Trisha Krishnan has been approached to play the female lead in 'D50' and she reportedly agreed instantly after listening to the script. Trisha earlier played the lover turned chief antagonist against Dhanush in 'Kodi' and this will be the secont time they are sharing screen space.
'D50' has music by A.R. Rahman and boasts of the ensemble all star cast of Dhanush, Trisha, S.J. Suryah, Kalidas Jayaram, Vishnu Vishal, Sundeep Kishan and Dushara Vijayan. The film is said to be a gangster drama and will go on floors soon.
Trisha fresh from the success of 'Ponniyin Selvan 1', 'Raangi' and 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' is currently acting as Thalapathy Vijay's pair in 'Leo' and Ajith's leading lady in 'Vidaamuyarchi'. She is also in talks to star in Kamal Haasan's 'KH 234' directed by Mani Ratnam.
