After 'VIP 2' Dhanush confirms another sequel

As we all know actor Dhanush will be writing the story-dialogues and starring in 'Velai Illa Pattadhari 2' the sequel to his 2014 blockbuster. The initial photo shoot for this Soundarya Rajinikanth directorial has begun in Mumbai.

Now it seems ground work for the sequel of another recent Dhanush starrer has also begun. Dhanush has confirmed that the final draft of 'Maari 2' script is ready. Director Balaji Mohan has confirmed that writing the script itself was so exciting.

The talks about 'Maari 2' has been doing rounds for several months this latest update from the actor and the director can be taken as the first official announcement about 'Maari 2'.

We can be assured that an official announcement on the commencement of 'Maari 2' can be expected anytime in 2017.
