Dhanush for the past few years has been facing an irksome case filed by one Kathiresan from Melur who has been claiming that the multi-talented entertainer is his son born to wife Meenakshi. He had sought monthly alimony amounting to thousands of rupees as well. However the Madurai High Court Bench dismissed the case after hearing Dhanush's petition.

Now Kathiresan has once again approached the court stating that Dhanush had submitted fake documents to prove that he was not his son and that no action has been taken by the Madurai Commissioner and Kopudur Police station on his complaint of the same. The case came up for hearing on Tuesday and judge Samundeeshwari Prabha has ordered that notice be served on Dhanush and the concerned police officials and has adjourned the case to February 13th.
