We all know that Dhanush's 'Captain Miller' is gearing up to release on Pongal 2024. Sivakarthikeyan's 'Ayalaan' and Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Lal Salaam' are also slated for theatrical release on the same weekend. Now, the latest is that the makers of Captain Miller have locked the release date.

While the two other films have locked January 12th as the release date, reports say that 'Captain Miller' will release on January 11th, one day prior. It is said that the team has decided to go with a Thursday (Jan 11) release instead of Friday (Jan 12) as an advantage to make the most out of the long weekend. We have to wait for an official announcement of the same.

'Captain Miller' is touted to be a period war-action film directed by Arun Matheswaran and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. It stars Dhanush in the title role, with an ensemble cast of Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish John Kokken, Edward Sonnenblick, and others. GV Prakash Kumar scores the music with DOP handled by Siddhartha Nuni and editing done by Nagooran Ramachandran.
