Noted Tamil actor Dhanush's period action-adventure film 'Captain Miller' is poised to embark on its OTT journey, captivating audiences with its gripping storyline and stellar performances. Directed by Arun Matheswaran and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the film is the first installment of a captivating trilogy.

'Captain Miller' stars Dhanush in the lead role, alongside a talented ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Nassar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan, and Nivedhithaa Sathish. The film will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting February 9th.

Set against the backdrop of the pre-independence era, 'Captain Miller' delves into the life of Analeesan (Dhanush), also known as Eesa. Following the tragic loss of his mother, Eesa finds himself idling away his time in his village, while his elder brother, Sengola (Shiva Rajkumar), actively participates in the Indian Independence movement.

When Eesa faces a conflict with the villagers and is ostracized, he decides to join the British Indian army in search of respect and recognition. Renamed Miller by the British, Eesa becomes part of a battalion involved in a brutal attack against local protesters. Disturbed by the atrocities he witnesses, he abandons the army and transforms into the revolutionary 'Captain Miller.'

Director Arun Matheswaran aptly describes the film as "a journey of a man fighting for freedom, making it not only engaging but also very emotional."
