Dhanush is now working under the acclaimed maker Arun Matheshwaran in the upcoming biggie, 'Captain Miller'. It is reported to be a period action adventure film with a huge multistarrer cast. The movie is close to the finish line and set to hit the screens later this year with music by GV Prakash.
Now, the big news is that Captain Miller has landed in legal trouble. The film is majorly shot in the forest region of Tenkasi district and a grand set has been erected in the Kalakad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve region. Now, a complaint has been registered against the movie team at the Tenkasi district administration office by the environmentalists.
The complaint was made as the crew's actions disturbed the wild animals. The Captain Miller makers are facing problems as they used high-beam lights during the night shoot in the forest's buffer zone. As per the petition, they have also reportedly damaged the Chenkulam canal bank, which consists of 15 water tanks, and filled the damaged portion with soil.
The production house Sathya Jyothi Films hasn't commented in this regard yet. Captain Miller stars Dhanush, Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, John Kokken, Edward Sonnenblick, Vinoth Kishan and many others. The cinematography of the film is handled by Shreyaas Krishna and editing is done by Nagooran.
