Dhanush the multifaceted star of Kollywood has made it a regular habit of winning awards for his performances. Among the younger generation of stars in Tamil he is the one who has widened his horizons in Bollywood as well as Hollywood. His current lineup of films includes ‘The Gray Man’, ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Maaran’ and ‘Thiruchitrambalam’.
Authentic reports are emerging from Bollywood that the producers of ‘Atrangi Re’ are mulling over releasing the film on OTT. Akshay Kumar one of the male leads has himself let this out at a recent media interview and has stated that he feels it is best suited for streaming under the current situation. The film directed by Anand L Rai is a triangular love story with Sara Ali Khan romancing both Akshay and Dhanush.
We will have to await the official confirmation regarding ‘Atrangi Re’ OTT release. it is worth mentioning that recently Dhanush’s fans expressed their displeasure on Jagame Thandhiram’ directed by Karthik Subbaraj that went straight to OTT and streamed on Netflix on June 21st.
