DOP Dinesh Krishnan who was roped in to take care of the cinematography too to his Twitter to announce that he is no longer a part of this much-anticipated film.
While the reasons for the cinematographer to walk out of the film is yet to be known, the young cameraman has expressed that it is unfortunate that he couldn't be a part of the film starring Dhanush in the lead. Dinesh wrote, "It is unfortunate that I couldn’t be a part of @dhanushkraja’s #vaathi #SIRmovie Hoping to work soon with @Fortune4Cinemas@SitharaEnts @vamsi84 #venkyatluri. #covid."
Bankrolled by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments, the Tamil-Telugu bilingual has been titled 'Vaathi' in Tamil and 'Sir' in Telugu. The film traces the ambitious journey of a common man, which has Dhanush playing the role of a college teacher. With Dinesh Krishnan walking out of the project, we will have to wait and see who take charge of the cinematography for the film.
