We already reported to you that Dhanush is all set to join hands with Director Venky Atluri of Tholi Prema fame. While his fans were eagerly waiting for the announcement Dhanush took to his Twitter and made it official.

Bankrolled by S Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments, the film is said to be a period social drama that revolves around the education mafia and highlights one young man’s fight against the privatisation of education. Dhanush has officially announced that his next film is with Venky Atluri and also revealed that the title of the film will be announced tomorrow. An interesting buzz about this film is that Pooja Hegde was approached to play the lead lady in this film, but the official announcer is awaited.

Dhanush is expected to finish this Tamil-Telugu bilingual before the already announced multilingual film with popular Tollywood director Sekhar Kammula. Confirming the same, Dhanush posted, "My next Tamil film and my first direct Telugu film .. title announcement tom. Om Namashivaaya," (sic)

The production house wrote, "We feel elated to team up with the National Award Winning Actor @dhanushkraja garu for a prestigious film in Telugu & Tamil Written & Directed by #VenkyAtluri, Produced by @vamsi84 & #SaiSoujanya Title reveal at 09:36 AM, Tomorrow"

Dhanush currently has the Hindi movie Atrangi Re with Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan up for release. The film will premiere at Disney Plus Hotstar on December 24. On the work front, Dhanush has The Gray Man, Thiruchitrambalam, and Naane Varuven in the pipeline.
