Here comes the big news as Dhanush as promised has made it official that his 'Asuran' directed by Vettrimaaran is hitting the screens on October 4th. This is the third fourth film of the duo after 'Polladhavan', 'Aadukalam' and 'Vada Chennai' all of which have been critically acclaimed and also box office winners. This one is based on the novel "Vekkai" and is also expected to be an intense drama of the never before seen variety.

'Asuran' has Dhanush and Manju Warrier as the lead pair while Balaji Shakthivel, Pasupathi and Ken Karunaas play supporting roles. G.V. Prakash returns as composer for this project with Velraj handling the camera and Kalaipuli S Thanu producing under his banner V Creations.
