The Dhanush-Vetrimaaran combo has given two meaningful blockbusters 'Polladhavan' and 'Aadukalam' and are on the way for a hattrick with 'Vada Chennai' which is in post roduction getting ready for a festive release this year.  The First Look of the film will be unveiled tomorrow the 8th of March.

The latest news about 'Vada Chennai' as revealed by Vetrimaaran to a leading Tamil weekly is that the film has politics at the under current in a situation where a major leader dies and his/her party splits into two.  Dhanush plays a National level carrom player aiming for a World Championship and his characte name is Anbu.  

Ameer plays the role of Rajan, Samuthirakani is Guna, Andrea is Chandra and Aishwarya Rajesh is Padma while Daniel Balaji also plays a pivotal role.  There is no hero or villain character and the story deals with thirty five years in the life of these characters and will release in three parts.
