Dhanush and Chaos in Arakkonam

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,November 18 2013]

Where there is limelight, there is always a swarm of fans ready to lead to unintentional chaos. KV Anand's team with the lead actors Dhanush and Amyra, with a bunch of supporting artistes set off to Arakkonam Railway Station to shoot a few scenes for 'Anegan'. Seeing Dhanush in the station, people started swarming around the actor pushing and nudging their way through others to get a chance to shake hands with the actor and get him to sign a loving autograph. This led to a lot of commotion at the station, calling for police and railway authorities' intervention to disperse the crowd.

Meanwhile, some junior artistes were dressed as cops for the shoot, which added to the confusion, unable to differentiate between the actual officers of law and the actors. The shooting finally resumed after two tough hours. Interestingly, the shooting at Arakkonam features as a scene taking place in Vyasarpadi railway station!
