On Monday, the Tamil Nadu state witnessed one of its biggest democratic festival aka the elections for the 15th Legislative Assembly. Many Kollywood celebrities took part in the polling activity.

It is reliably learnt that actor Dhanush and his wife Aishwarya are not included in voters' list as they kept changing their residence in the recent years. Aishwarya's mother and Rajinikanth's wife Latha seems to have sent a letter to Chief Election Officer Rajesh Lakhoni requesting him to allow her daughter and son-in-law to vote in the elections to no avail, This was cited as the reason why Dhanush and Aishwarya did not vote in the elections.

Hope the actor-director couple get their names enrolled soon and they get to perform the democratic duty at least in the next elections.
