What does Rajinikanth want for Aishwaryaa and Dhanush?

Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and Dhanush R Announced their separation last week ending their 18 long years of happy marriage. The estranged couple issued a joint statement and shocked their fans. Now a report states that Rajinikanth ‘has taken his daughter’s break up very badly.’ It is also said that Rajinikanth wants Aishwaryaa to ‘mend her marriage’ with Dhanush. 

A source told, “Rajini sir has taken his daughter’s break up very badly. He keeps insisting that the separation is temporary. He has been urging his daughter to mend her marriage.” However, Rajinikanth is yet to make a public statement regarding Aishwaryaa and Dhanush’s relationship. Though the couple did not reveal the reason behind their separation, many fans were supportive of Aishwaryaa and Dhanush’s separation when the couple announced it.

Dhanush’s father Kasthuri Raja termed their separation as just a ‘family quarrel’ and also said that the couple has not filed for divorce yet. In an interview with a Tamil daily, Kasthuri Raja said, “It is a family quarrel that usually takes place between a married couple.”

On January 17 late night, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa on their respective Twitter and Instagram handle released a similar statement stating that they are separating. The statement read, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. We have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this.” On the work front, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are currently working on different projects in Hyderabad.
