After conquering Kollywood, Dhanush is making his foothold in Malayalam Cinema as well with his two upcoming production ventures - 'Tharangam' and 'Maradonna', both starring Tovino Thomas in the lead.

But, did you know Dhanush has acted in a Malayalam movie, which is the only Mollywood project that he has acted till date? The 'Kolaveri' actor made his Mollywood debut with the Mammootty-Dileep starrer movie "Proprietors: Kammath & Kammath" in which he played a cameo role as himself.

The 2013 release, features Mammootty and Dileep as Kammath brothers, who own a vegetarian hotel chain all over the state. Dhanush appears as a chief guest to inaugurate one of their new hotels in the movie.

Directed by Karyasthan fame Thomson K Thomas, the movie's highlight is that the lead characters talk in the Kongini Malayalam. Rima Kallingal and Karthika are the heroines of the movie. Produced by the Anto Joseph Productions, the movie was an average hit at the box-office.
