Lyca Productions, the producers of Superstar Rajinikanth starrer, Shankar directed sci-fi entertainer '2.0'. The big banner has been producing and distributing other Tamil films.

Sources say that Lyca Productions has acquired the Tamil Nadu Theatrical distribution rights of 'Kodi' the first dual role flick of Dhanush who is also producing the film under his Wunderbar Films banner.

The film has been directed by Durai Senthilkumar. Trisha and Anupama Parameshwaran of 'Premam' fame have acted as female leads in this political drama. Veteran director-actor S.A.Chandrasekar has acted as Dhanush's father. Santhosh Narayanan has rendered the musical score.

The shooting of the film has been completed and the film. Sources also say that the film will be hitting the screens in July 6 to cash in on the Ramzan holiday weekend.

'Kodi' will mark the third time union of Lyca with producer Dhanush after 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' and 'Visaranai'.
