Solo, which marks the Mollywood debut of popular filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar, is an anthology movie which consists of five short films. As you know, Dulquer Salmaan essays the lead role in all the short films along with five leading ladies, including Ann Augustine, Shruti Hariharan, Arthi Venkatesh, Asha Jayaram, and Sai Tamhankar.

The latest piece of news is that the Kabali actress Dhansika will be playing the female protagonist in the movie. Confirming the casting, director Bejoy revealed in a recent interview that the actress will be joining the third schedule of the film in Kochi. In the movie, Dhanshika plays a visually-challenged dancer. More details on her role are yet to be disclosed.

Apart from Dhanshika, Solo will also feature Kollywood actor Sathish and John Vijay in important roles. The movie's third schedule is planned to kickstart in Shimla in the month of May.
