'Dhamaka' collected a very good number at the box office on December 25, which was a Sunday and a festival day. An estimate says that the Ravi Teja-starrer mopped up Rs 2 Cr more than what 'Krack' did on Day 3 at the box office.
The first weekend's worldwide gross amassed by the commercial entertainer stands at Rs 26 Cr. The share stands at a little more than Rs 15 Cr.
The roaring run has been led by Nizam and Ceded markets. Karnataka and the US contributed Rs 3.5 Cr (gross) in three days.
Ravi Teja has made a startling return with the hit. This is his first good outing since 'Krack', which was the first post-lockdown Telugu hit, released in January last year. Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina has got his fourth hit in a row (if 'Hello Guru Prema Kosame' was a hit as well).
The film's success gives a booster to 'Tiger Nageswar Rao' and 'Ravanasura', the two upcoming movies starring Mass Maharaja.
