After playing side characters in big budget films like 'Uri' and '83', actor Dhairya Karwa is finally going to captivate the audience with his first role as a primary character in the film 'Gehraiyaan'. The actor has previously earned praises for his portrayals of Captain Sartaj Singh in 'Uri' and Ravi Shastri in '83' and he believes that he is on a path of gradual success.

Talking about his beginnings, Dhairya told The Indian Express, "I avoid using the word ‘struggle’ because it has a negative connotation to it. I call it the aspiring stage where I am putting all the effort and trying to grow in my career. It is a growing and learning phase. Fortunately, things are getting better and better. I can’t complain, I am happy."

He further revealed how his persistence led him to bag a role in Shakun Batra's 'Gehraiyaan'. He said, "I just kept giving auditions whenever I learnt about a film and that’s how ‘Uri’, ’83’ and ‘Gehraiyaan’ happened… I have been fortunate that I got to work with talented actors, that is another schooling for me, by just observing them."

'Gehraiyaan' also stars Ananya Pandey, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone and it is set to release on Amazon Prime Video on 11th of February.
