'Dhada' Ajay Bhuyan goes Bollywood

After making an action-drama with Naga Chaitanya in the lead, Ajay Bhuyan of Dhada fame is going Bollywood. He is making a comedy film, which belongs to the same genre as his unreleased film, Houseful. The most qualified director (well, he studied in an IIM institute) is not bogged down by the failure of Dhada. He approached a Mumbai-based film producer and narrated an idea. The producer was admittedly of the view that this South Indian mind will come up with a story set in a mofussil town. To his surprise, our filmmaker produced a trendy script with all the trappings of a Hollywood-kinda film.

The comedy film will star Vir Das, a stand-up comedian, of Delhi Belly fame. Ajay Bhuyan has always had his eyes set on Bollywood. Since he has long been associated with a famous Studio in Hyderabad and has been a friend of Chai, he debuted in Telugu.

The film will go on the floors in May. The release will be in October. This less than 2-hour film will have two music directors.
