On the day Ravi Teja's film Nippu hits the marquee, the most important film in his hand, Devudu Chesina Manushulu, to be directed by Puri Jagannadh, will commence officially. The film will go on floors from March 1. Starring Illeana D' Cruz, the film will be music-directed by Raghu Kunche.

Produced by BVSN Prasad on Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra, the film is a fresh one; it has no resemblance whatsoever with the old film. Whether the script of this film is the same as that of Idiot2 or not is not clear, what with PJ preferring to be tight-lipped about the subject.

Reliance Entertainment and Bhogavalli Bapineedu are co-producing the film. The film boasts of a good technical team. Cinematography is by Shyam K. Naidu; Editing is by S.R. Shekar.
