Deverakonda's 'Taxiwala' gets release date

Vijay Devarakonda has finally announced the release date of 'Taxiwala'. Young director, young team, young story, young cast and your man in combination with UV Creations and GA2. Taxiwaala arrives on Nov 16, the 'Geetha Govindam' actor said.

This one is coming after the disastrous performance of 'NOTA'. There were rumours that 'Taxiwala' would be out directly on Amazon or Netflix. But given Deverakonda's fan following, a theatrical release was always a no-brainer.

'Taxiwala' was supposed to be a May release. It has been delayed by VFX works. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, it stars Priyanka Jawalkar as the heroine. Bankrolled by SKN, the fantasy is a promising co-production of GA2 Productions and UV Creations.
